Graduated from the University of Nigeria in 2011 with a second class upper degree in Geoinformatics and Surveying. After national youth service, he worked across private practice before retiring voluntarily in 2019 to found Fieldgate Geomatics. His practical and managerial experience in land surveying spans over 32 years, covering control establishment, oil spill, perimeter, hydrographic and structural stability surveys. He is a devout Christian, a researcher and a philanthropist.
